Microsoft’s launch of WM 7 hours is not only related to Microsoft’s own image and the user’s response, would also significantly affect the partners. WM 7 has not been the exact launch time, CES 2010 on the LG has said, WM 7 will launch this year. However, Microsoft’s other partners, but broke the news, saying that WM 7 could not see next year’s listing.
It is reported that Microsoft’s partners, broke the news that, whether it is Microsoft itself, or its partners such as HTC and other companies that WM7 is unlikely to move in next year’s World Congress held before the convening of a formal appearance. Prior to Ballmer said Microsoft will be held next month’s meeting revealed more about the details of WM 7.
After listing the WM7 extension of Microsoft’s partners will result in a more serious impact on many of them are not going to be launched this year of any new phones based on the WM system. But also in the CES trade show, Nvidia’s speech there was a marked cold WM, vigorous pursuit of Google Android signs. HTC Although the CES 2010 there is no speech, but also demonstrated its design based on Nexus One phone Android2.1. While other companies such as Motorola are just publicly declared that this year will not launch new WM.
Currently, Microsoft has not made any assessment of this argument.

This is very frustrating because I personally think that WinMo is absolutely fantastic. I guess if it gets discontinued I might switch to Android, but reluctantly. I’m still planning on getting the Tilt 2 soon, though.

A small chime in but a chime in none the less, . I too love windows mobile, why, many reasons and one being simply because i haven’t yet bought into the apple madness of the ipod touch and iphone. and their commercials are very very annoying (yuck). I especially love the phones in the HTC line particularily the htc hd2 (love it, love it).

I don’t agree with him either–to a point. The problem isn’t that Microsoft’s platform isn’t good, it’s that building a platform isn’t the point of the phone market. The current market is all geared around the New Shiny, ala the iPhone business model. Hype a device, not a product line, and every company wants to make something unique. The idea of a cross compatible range of devices falls on deaf ears for most people.
